California Optometric Association member Dr. Elio Polsinelli visited View from The Bay on January 22, 2010 for a segment regarding children's vision. He engaged the audience with excellent visuals that gave viewers an idea of what it's like to see through the eyes of a child with a vision problem.

Short video for the California Optometric Association

A compilation of the latest television appearances placed by Phyllis Klein & Associates PR for the California Optometric Association was recently presented to COA’s local society leaders. The short video included quick cuts from numerous television segments and illustrated the wide scope of practice of optometry. It also demonstrated the value of PK&A’s PR program in educating the public about vision issues through media trained spokesdoctors. A post-meeting survey revealed that 97% of the attendees found the presentation effective and impressive with many asking for copies for their own use.

Computer Vision Syndrome segments in both San Diego and Fresno

San Diego Optometrist Dr. Phil Smith of the California Optometric Association was on San Diego Living last Friday giving tips to viewers on how to combat Computer Vision Syndrome.
